Tweet Others Like You Want to be Tweeted

“Quote this tweet with the worst words someone has said to you” I hit the quote button and typed the words “you’re too much.” I pressed tweet and hit send before I began watching my youtube videos again. … Until about 30 seconds later, when I realized how awful that was. What I tweeted, “you’re too much,” yes it’s awful that anyone had ever said that to me. However, it wasn’t what I was referring to. What I found truly awful was that our first inclination has humans is to be negative. Immediately after tweeting I prayed and said, “God what’s the best thing that anyone has ever said to me?” I couldn’t think of anything right away; so, I decided to write a blog post about it. Naturally. I’m sure we all know the saying, “sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt me.” Throughout our childhood we were taught that you need to rub some dirt on it and get over yourself. Hidden Gem

I'm sure we've all heard the term 'hidden gem,' usually referring to a wonderful destination unknown to many. Last week, I traveled home to Colorado. To say it was jammed packed would be an understatement. I did everything from hiking to shopping to swimming, all with some of my most treasured friends. However, one excursion stood out to me. My best friend and I took a trip to Boulder. Boulder; definitely a gem, but by no means is it hidden. You haven't seen Colorado until you've seen Boulder. It has everything. However, most head straight to Pearl Street, Boulder's strip mall. While walking, my friend and I found ourselves in a rock shop. There were dinosaurs, fossils, fools gold; we could've spent all day exploring. What I found to be most mesmerizing though, were the gemstones.  There were all different kinds.
