Shadow
When I was a kid I knew some friends that were afraid of their shadow. I thought that was really odd. I could understand being afraid of the dark, you never knew what was lurking in there, but... A shadow? Were they serious? It really confused me, until I got a phone and with that, all the social media it comes with. Just like my friends, as kids, were afraid of the darkness following them, I’ve learned about the real danger of a digital shadow. Everything that you do online can and will follow you. If you spell something wrong, it will affect you. If you have bad grammar, it will affect you if you post a photo drinking, it will affect you. Everything you do online makes your shadow a little bit bigger. Your online presence is a reflection of who you are, weather what’s online about you is true or not, people will form opinions.
